Student to Instructor Ratio - 6:1 ***NOTE: Due to Labor Day, the first Monday session will be replaced by Friday, Sept 9.*** Recreational Classes: The Rec program is developed for kids who are just starting their tennis careers or have played but are still deciding if tennis is right for them. Focus will be on learning the 5 fundamentals of tennis (Grip, Setup, Impact point, Hitting zone, and Recovery) for each stroke (groundstrokes, volleys and serve) through games and drills designed to be fun. The overall goal of the program will be to spark further interest in the sport of tennis, while improving coordination and their tennis ability in a “fun-first” environment! Fall Session - This session continues to develop fundamental skills learnt in previous sessions in addition to rally, serve and net play skills. Court conduct and good sportsmanship continues to be taught and reinforced.

FOR PAID PROGRAMS ONLY PAYMENT IS DUE AT LEAST TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE START OF A SESSION IN ORDER TO GUARANTEE A PLACE. Payment can be made by e-transfer sent to firstname.lastname@example.org using gtc2022 as the answer to the security question. Alternatively, you can mail a cheque payable to Guildwood Tennis Club, to Treasurer, 3 Cunard St, Toronto, M1J 2M9. REFUND POLICY – PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING 1. To withdraw from a program, send a written request by email to email@example.com. 2. Refunds will be issued, less an administrative fee of $10, if the request is received no later than two weeks prior to the start of the session. 3. Refunds will not be issued within the two-week period prior to the start of the session unless we can find a replacement. If a replacement is found, your refund will be subject to an administrative fee of $10. 4. Refunds will not be issued once the session begins. RAIN OUT POLICY – PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING 1. If 30 minutes or more of a class has been completed prior to any rain it counts as a completed class and does not qualify for rain out. 2. It is the instructor only who decides to cancel a class due to rain and he will notify participants by email in the event of rain. 3. For any class that is canceled due to rain the instructor will attempt to schedule a make-up class before the end of the course. 4. If a class cannot be made up, then participants will be reimbursed after the end of the session at the rate of $12/h.
